Attach the upper conveyance unit to the
bracket in the infeed section.
Align the stopper of the upper conveyance
unit with the cutout of the bracket on either
side, then insert the upper conveyance unit
into the bracket until it clicks. After inserting
the unit, check that the claw projects from the
cutout on each side.
• If the upper conveyance unit is not firmly
attached to the bracket, paper may be
conveyed on a skew.
• When paper jammed at around the
upper conveyance unit is removed by
force, the belt may come off. If it comes
off, remove the upper conveyance unit
from the machine and put back the belt.
When removing it, press the claws on each
side of the upper conveyance unit.
After removing the upper conveyance unit,
place it with the belt and the paper guides
facing upward. Otherwise, the belt and the
paper guides could be deformed.
