BUTTONS DONT
WORK
Check if the Hold switch is locked on the player or
remote control. If this is the case, Hold appears on
the LCD. For more information, see Hold Icons on
page 17.
BATTERIES DON’T
RECHARGE
Check that the battery is installed according to the
correct polarity. For instructions see Battery Instal-
lation & Recharging on page 11.
CD FILES ARE
NOT
RECOGNIZED
Non-music files and files without an .mp3, .wma or
.cda extension in the name will be ignored by the
player.
“NO DISK
DISPLAYED ON
THE LCD
Check the CD and insert it again.
The CD may be scratched or damaged.
Check for any foreign particles on the CD or the
lens inside the player. If available, use a soft, dry,
lint-free cloth to gently wipe away particles.
MUSIC FILES ARE
PLAYED IN THE
WRONG ORDER
The order that tracks play depends on how they
were burned onto the CD.
Playback order could be as a result of a repeat
option you selected, for example, if RND A shows
on the LCD, the repeat option is set to play tracks
randomly. For more information, see Repeat
Option on page 15.
SOUND PROBLEMS
NO SOUND Check the volume level by using the button.
Ensure that the earphone jack is plugged in all the
way.
Insure the earphone jacks are properly connected
to the player. If using the remote control, insure it is
correctly connected to the player, see page 9.
If listening to an Audio CD, insure the ESP function
is on.
