1. Install the mounting plate EEA-17203 (1) on the
transmission stand EEA-17200 (2) and install the
transmission on the mounting plate with the electro-
hydraulic control unit facing up, securing the transmission
to the plate through the front case with at least three
capscrews.

3. Remove the side electro-hydraulic control unit shield.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the TCU.

2. Remove the top electro-hydraulic control unit shield.
CAUTION! Make sure that the Electro-
Hydraulic Control Unit has been depressurised
before starting any maintenance on the base
transmission and/or on the Control Unit.
CAUTION! Observe the correct procedure
for connecting the connector according to the
instructions below.

CAUTION! Never start any maintenance
service on the base transmission with the
Electro-Hydraulic Control Unit installed.
