Front Case
Disassembly
1. Position the front case with its internal side facing up.
2. If necessary, with a 5mm Allen wrench, remove the oil
intake retaining screw and remove the oil intake.
3. Using special tool EEA-17136, remove the countershaft
front bearing cup (1).
4. Using special tools EEA-17107 and EEA-17144 (not
shown), remove together: the oil baffle (installed
underneath the input shaft front bearing cup) and the
input shaft front bearing cup (2).
NOTE: The oil baffle will be damaged during
disassembly. Replace it with a new one during
assembly.
5. Using a lever, remove the input shaft front oil seal from
the clutch side.
NOTE:
• The picture shows the case without the input
shaft installed. The oil seal can be replaced with or
without the input shaft installed.
• The front oil seal will be damaged during
disassembly. Replace it with a new one during
assembly.
