6. After the pins, insert eight 9.5 mm diameter balls, four
on each side.
NOTE: Use grease to keep the balls in their housings.
7. Assemble the 1st / 2nd gear shift rail while maintaining
the balls in their housings with your nger in the position
of the 3rd / 4th gear shift rail. Push the rail until the
interlock ball snaps to the notch on the rail.
NOTE: When assembling the shift rail, make sure to
correctly position the rail notches for the balls: one
notch facing the plug and the other notch facing the
interlock hole.
8. Install one 9.5 mm diameter ball.
