Use a soft cloth saturated with a solution of
10% chlorine bleach in tap water.
Disinfecting
Clean the pulse oximeter before disinfecting it.
The recommended disinfectants include: ethanol 70%,
isopropanol 70%, glutaraldehyde-type 2% liquid
disinfectants.
WARNING
Sterilization may cause damage to the equipment
and is therefore not recommended for this pulse
oximeter unless otherwise indicated in your
hospital’s servicing schedule.
CAUTION
Never use EtO or formaldehyde for disinfection.
