Mapping CoS Values to ACLs
Use the ACL CoS Priority page to set the output queue for packets matching a
configured ACL rule. For information on configuring ACLs, see “Access Control
Lists” on page 3-88.
Command Usage
You must configure an ACL before you can map a CoS queue to the rule.
Command Attributes
Port – Port identifier.
Name – Name of a configured ACL.
Type – Type of ACL (IP or MAC).
CoS Priority – CoS queue used for packets matching the ACL rule. (Range: 0-3)
Web – Click Priority, ACL CoS Priority. Select a port and an ACL rule, then specify a
CoS queue. Click Add.

CLI – This example assigns the CoS queue 3 to packets matching rules within the
specified ACL on port 1.
Quality of Service
The commands described in this section are used to configure Quality of Service
(QoS) classification criteria and service policies. Differentiated Services (DiffServ)
provides policy-based management mechanisms used for prioritizing network
resources to meet the requirements of specific traffic types on a per hop basis.
Each packet is classified upon entry into the network based on access lists, IP
