17 OPERATING MODES
Your ViscosityMaster software has two operating modes; manual and automatic.
•In manual mode your ViscosityMaster software records measurements as they are taken by
the instrument but it does not control the operation of the Viscometer.
•In automatic mode your ViscosityMaster software records measurements and it controls the
operation of the Viscometer.
Note: RV1 models can only be used in manual mode. RV2 models can be used in Manual mode
and in Automatic mode.

Note: RV1 Viscometers can only be used in manual mode - they cannot be used in automatic mode.
18.1 Setting up a batch
1. Click on ‘New’ and select ‘New Batch’.
2. Type a name for the batch and then press the Return key.
