Your Viscometer can be used in accordance with the following National and International

• ISO 2884-2
• ASTM D2196

• 19 speeds from 0.3 rpm to 200 rpm
• PT100 temperature probe
• RS 232 interface (bidirectional on RV2 models)
• Data download software
• Remote control via PC (RV2 models only)
• Audible warning if viscosity reading exceeds the optimum measuring range
• 4 line display showing:
• Viscosity (cP or mPa•s)
• Spindle rotation speed
• % scale (Brookfield)
• Sample temperature
• Auto range
• Shear rate (RV2 models only)
• Shear stress (RV2 models only)
Your Elcometer Rotary Viscometer is packed in a cardboard and foam package. Please ensure that
this packaging is disposed of in an environmentally sensitive manner. Consult your local
Environmental Authority for further guidance.
