GPS Data:
If your GPS is connected to the MVP, the following data will be provided:
Way Point - Current Way Point.
Track - GPS track to Way Point.
Speed - GPS Speed over the ground.
Effncy - Efficiency based on GPS Speed and Fuel Flow.
F to WP - Fuel required to reach the Way Point.
T to WP - Time required to reach the Way Point.
D to WP - Distance to the Way Point.
Bottom Section:
This section displays composite data based on Fuel Flow and GPS Data.
“Fuel Reserve:” Fuel remaining in the tank(s) after you reach your Way Point based on current Fuel Flow,
Fuel Rem. and Time to Way Point. If the Time Reserve drops below 45 minutes, this value will be displayed
in Yellow. If the Time Reserve drops below 30 minutes, this value will be displayed in Red.
“Time Reserve:” Time you can fly beyond your Way Point based on current Time to Empty and Time to
Way Point. If the Time Reserve drops below 45 minutes, this value will be displayed in Yellow. If the Time
Reserve drops below 30 minutes, this value will be displayed in Red.
“Dist. Reserve:” Distance you can fly beyond your Way Point based on current Distance to Empty and
Distance to Way Point. If the Time Reserve drops below 45 minutes, this value will be displayed in Yellow. If
the Time Reserve drops below 30 minutes, this value will be displayed in Red.
4.5 “Timers” Screen:
The “Timers” screen provides of the following timers:
“Up Timer:” An Up Timer is provided with a reoccurring
alarm. If the alarm is set for 30 minutes, you will get an alarm
every 30 minutes (i.e., 30 min, 60 min, 90 min, etc.). This can
be useful for timing the switching of fuel tanks, periodic
checkups or other important events. A field for starting,
stopping and resetting the timer is provided.
“Down Timer:” A Down Timer is provided with a field for
starting, stopping and resetting the timer. When the timer
reaches 00:00 an alarm will sound and the time will start
counting up with a negative sign shown in the front of the
displayed time.
