Todisplaythesystem’ssoftwareandhardwareversions:
FromtheServicemenu,selectVersion[710];thesoftware(SW)and
hardware(HW)versionsaredisplayed.
Enable Programming
TheinstallerortheCentralStationareabletoconnectwiththesystem(locallyfromthe
programming menu or remotely with RP using regular telephone, cellular
communication, or through the Internet) in order to check the system status, program
thecontrolsystem,andchangeitssettings.
If Installer Access and/orRP
Accessareprogrammed asʺuser initiatedʺ the installeror
the Central Station can not access the control system unless the Master User grants
accesswithEnableProgrammingcommand.
Togiveaccesstoprogramming:
FromtheServicemenu,selectEnableProg.[711];a30‐minutetime
windowisopenedduringwhichtheInstallerorRPgainaccesstothe
controlsystemprogramming.
Global Chime
Each sensor can be programmed by your installer to cause the system to chime when
activated. This feature is active only when the system is disarmed. For example, the
system can be programmed to sound a chime each time the front door is opened or
closed.TheGlobalChimeoptionenablesyoutoturnthisfeatureonandoff.
ToenableordisableGlobalChime:
1. FromtheServicemenu,selectGlobalChime[712].
2. SelecteitherEnableorDisable.
GlobalChimecanalsobeaccessedviaaconvenientshortcutwithoutneedingto
enteravalidusercode.ToaccesstheGlobalChimeoptionfromStandbymode,
press then.
Remote Firmware Update
There is an option of control system software version update from a remote PC using
WEB communication. If Remote Programming is programmed asʺuser initiatedʺ such
updatecannotbemadeunlesstheMasterUsergrantsaccesstoitwithRemoteSoftware
Updatecommand.
