11. Battery change / Decommissioning
Follow the instructions below to dispose of the generator:
Caution!
All work must be carried out by qualified personnel only.
Warning!
Electric shock hazard!
Before opening the generator, switch it off and disconnect all plug connec-
tors and cables.
Please note that there is a risk of electric shock due to the energy that is
stored in the electronic components. Wait a while before opening the
generator and then make sure it is de-energized before you remove or
replace the battery.
The integrated battery of the generator must be removed and disposed of
separately. To do so, open the plate at the rear of the housing, remove the
lithium battery and dispose of it separately.
Once the battery has been removed, the generator can be disposed of as
electronic scrap.
