4.1.8.11 Network Interfaces
The device allows configuration of 1 basic eth0 network interface, up to 8 additional eth0.XX VLAN
interfaces, and up to 5 additional pppX VLAN/PPP interfaces.
To create, edit, or remove rules for network interfaces, use the following buttons:
Add;
Edit;
Delete.
Network Interface Settings
Basic Settings
Network labelname of the network.
Firewall profileshows the firewall profile selected for
this interface.
Typeinterface type (always untagged for eth0
interface).
VLAN IDVLAN identifier (14,095) (only for tagged
type interfaces).
Enable DHCPspecifies that an IP address is to
dynamically obtained from the DHCP server.
IP-addressnetwork address of the device.
Network masksubnet mask of the device.
Broadcastaddress for packets broadcasting.
Gatewaydo not obtain the IP address of the gateway
dynamically from the DHCP server.
DNS-address by DHCPobtain the IP address of the
DNS server dynamically from the DHCP server.
NTP-address by DHCPobtain the IP address of the NTP server dynamically from the DHCP server.
Services - a configuration menu for the services enabled for this interface:
Enable Webenables access via web interface.
Enable Telnetenables access via the Telnet protocol.
Enable SSHenables access via the SSH protocol.
Enable SNMPenables SNMP.
Enable SIP signallingenables reception and transmission of the SIP signalling information
through the network interface configured in this section.
