12.3.4 Peristaltic pump tubing
The expected life of the peristaltic pump tubing is one year.
To replace pump tubing:
Procedure
1. Turn off the sample and reagent pumps.
2. The reagent and sample tubing is connected to the pump tubing with luer fittings.
Disconnect the fittings from the pump by turning the fitting in the direction of the
arrow.

3. Using your thumb and forefinger, gently pinch the sides of the pump cover. Slide the
cover upwards to remove it.

4. Using your thumb as shown in Figure 12-7, push the tubing fitting straight outward
until the fitting slides out of the socket.
