Navigation Setup → Advanced setup → Curr.output → 4 mA value
Description Value for 4-mA at 'Turn down parameter' = On
Using the turn down functionality it is possible to map a section of the measuring range to
the total range of the output current (4-20mA). The section is defined by the '4 mA value'
and '20 mA value' parameters.
Without the turn down, the complete measuring range (0 to 100%) is mapped to the
current output (4 to 20mA).
Note:
If '20 mA value' is smaller than '4 mA value', the current output is inverted, which means
that an increase of the process variable results in a decrease of the output current.
