Define access code
Navigation Setup → Advanced setup → Administration → Def. access code
Description Define release code for changing device operation mode.
If the factory setting is not changed or 0000 is defined as the access code, the device works
in maintenance mode without write-protection and the configuration data of the device
can then always be modified.
Once the access code has been defined, write-protected devices can only be changed to
maintenance mode if the access code is entered in the 'Enter access code' parameter.
The new access code is only valid after it has been confirmed in the 'Confirm access code'
parameter.
Please contact your Endress+Hauser Sales Center if you lose your access code.
