Device Functions Proline t-mass 65 11 Group PULSE/FREQUENCY OUTPUT
Endress+Hauser 41
ON-VALUE Use this function to assign a value to the switch-on point (status output conductive). The
value can be greater or less than the switch-off point. Negative values are only permitted
for the measured variable TEMPERATURE.
! Note!
This function is not available unless the STATUS setting was selected in the OPERATION
MODE function and LIMIT VALUE was selected in the ASSIGN STATUS function.
User input:
5-digit floating-point number, [unit]
Factory setting:
0 [kg/h; lb/h] or 0[ Nm
3
/h; Sm
3
/h] or 0 [°C]/+32 [°F]
(country dependent, Page 71 ff.)
! Note!
The appropriate unit is taken from the group SYSTEM UNITS (see Page 9)
OFF-VALUE Use this function to assign a value to the switch-off point (deactivation of the status out-
put). The value can be greater or less than the switch-on point. Negative values are only
permitted for the measured variable TEMPERATURE.
! Note!
This function is not available unless the STATUS setting was selected in the OPERATION
MODE function and LIMIT VALUE was selected in the ASSIGN STATUS function.
User input:
5-digit floating-point number, [unit]
Factory setting:
0 [kg/h; lb/h] or 0[ Nm
3

/h] or 0 [°C]/+32 [°F]
(country dependent, Page 71 ff.)
! Note!
The appropriate unit is taken from the group SYSTEM UNITS (see Page 9)
TIME CONSTANT Use this function to enter a time constant defining how the measurung signal reacts to
severely fluctuating measured variables, either very quickly (enter a low time constant) or
with damping (enter a high time constant). Damping acts on the measuring signal before
the switch status changes, and consequently before switch-on or switch-off delay is acti-
vated. The purpose of damping, therefore, is to prevent the status output changing state
continuously in response to fluctuations in flow.
! Note!
This function is not available unless one of the following was selected in the ASSIGN
STATUS function:
LIMIT MASS FLOW
LIMIT CORRECTED VOLUME FLOW
LIMIT TEMPERATURE
User input:
fixed-point number: 0.0 to 100.0 s
Factory setting:
0.0 s
ACTUAL STATUS Use this function to check the current status of the status output.
! Note!
This function is not available unless the STATUS setting was selected in the OPERATION
MODE function.
