! Note!
This group is not available unless the transmitter is fitted with a relay output I/O module.
ASSIGN RELAY Use this function to assign a switching function to the relay output.

! Note!
• It is very important to read and comply with the information on the switching charac-
teristics of the relay output, (see Page 46).
• It is advisable to configure at least one relay output as a fault output and define the out-
puts' response to error.
• The relay output is configured as a normally open (NO or make) contact by default. It
can be reconfigured as a normally closed (NC or break) contact by means of a jumper
on the relay module ( please refer to the Operating Instructions Proline t-mass 65,
BA111D/06/en).
• If you select OFF or ON, the only function shown in the CONFIGURATION function
group is this function ASSIGN RELAY
ON-VALUE Use this function to assign a value to the switch-on point (relay output pulls up). The
value can be greater or less than the switch-off point. Negative values are only permitted
for the measured variable TEMPERATURE.
! Note!
This function is not available unless LIMIT VALUE was selected in the ASSIGN RELAY
function.
