5 Operation
5.1 Display element
The local display enables you to read all important parameters directly at the measuring
point.
The display consists of two lines; this is where measured values and/or status variables
(direction of flow, bar graph, etc.) are displayed. You can change the assignment of dis-
play lines to different variables to suit your needs and preferences by means of the
HART interface or using the FieldTool program (
see the Description of Device
Functions manual).

The backlit, two-line liquid crystal display shows measured values, dialog texts, fault
messages and information messages. The display as it appears when normal measur-
ing is in progress is known as the HOME position (operating mode).
Upper display line: shows the primary measured value, mass flow or volume flow.
Lower display line: shows additional measured variables and status variables, e.g.
totalizer reading, bar graph, measuring point designation.
