9.8 Replacing the device fuse
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Exposed components carry dangerous voltages. Make sure that
the power supply is switched off before you remove the cover of the electronics com-
partment.
The main fuse is on the power unit board (Fig. 21).
The procedure for replacing the fuse is as follows:
1. Switch off power supply.
2. Remove the power unit board

3. Remove cap (1) and replace the device fuse (2).
Use only fuses of the following type:
– Power supply 20...55 V AC / 16...62 V DC
→ 2.0 A slow-blow / 250 V; 5.2 x 20 mm
– Power supply 85...260 V AC
→ 0.8 A slow-blow / 250 V; 5.2 x 20 mm
– Ex-rated devices

4. Assembly is the reverse of the disassembly procedure.
Caution:
Use only original Endress+Hauser parts.
