The EAP900H supports the 2.4 GHz frequency band under
the802.11b/g/nmodewhileatthesametimeprovidinga
5GHzbandforcommunicatingortransferringlesinaless
congested network frequency band.
The EAP900H also delivers up to 6x faster wireless speeds
compared to legacy 802.11a/b/g wireless devices. Even
though the EAP900H has been designed and engineered
for heavy trafc and demanding business environments,
inlargerhousingenvironmentsasitcanefcientlyextend
the wireless range of an existing home router. This makes
itespeciallyidealinarchitecturally-challengingstructures,
providing whole home connectivity.
Toprotectsensitivedataduringwirelesstransmissions,the
EAP900H offers different encryption settings for wireless
transmissions,includingindustrystandardWPAandWPA2
encryption. The EAP900H also includes MAC address
lteringtoallownetworkadministratorstooffernetwork
access only to known computers and other devices based
on their MAC addresses.
