WSG-1068 IGNITION SYSTEM
Ignition Coil-On Plug - Removal
1. Disconnect the wiring at the coil.
2. Remove the bolt and the coil.

WARNING: ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY
GLASSES TO PROTECT EYES FROM FLYING
FOREIGN MATERIAL.
1. NOTE: Remove any foreign material from spark
plug wells with compressed air.
2. Insert a small amount of dielectric grease into
each boot using Motorcraft Silicone Brake
Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound XG-3
or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-
M1C171-A.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
