Valve Spring Compression Pressure
Special Tool(s)
 Use the Valve/Clutch Spring Tester to check the
valve springs for proper strength at the specified
valve spring length.
Valve and Seat Refacing Measurements
NOTE: After grinding valves or valve seats, check valve
clearance.
 Check the valve seat and valve angles.
Valve Seat Width
 Measure the valve seat width. If necessary,
grind the valve seat to specification.
Valve Seat Runout
 Use the Valve Seat Runout Gauge to check
valve seat runout.
