IPv4 Settings
In the Network - TCP/IP - IPv4 Settings window, settings can be specified for the following
parameters.
Item Description
IP Address Setting Select whether the IP address of the machine is assigned automatically or manually.
Choices Auto, Specify
Default Auto
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
UTILITY - ADMIN. MANAGEMENT - NETWORK SETTING - IP ADDR. SETTING
Auto IP Select the method for automatically assigning the machine IP address.
Choices DHCP, BootP, ARP/PING
Default DHCP
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
UTILITY - ADMIN. MANAGEMENT - NETWORK SETTING - DHCP, BOOTP, ARP/PING
IP Address Specifies the machine’s IP address.
Range 0 to 255 for each triplet
Default 0.0.0.0
Note:
When IP Address Setting is set to “SPECIFY”, the above values are not acceptable when
click Apply button.
If the IP address is outside the range, the following message displays when you choose
the Apply button: “Update Unsuccessful”
Go back to the previous screen, and then type an appropriate number.
