media edge plates and the thermal sheet out
of the way. Contact with deformed media
edge plates could damage the print head.

Flip the media loading lever backwards.

When using the Auto Take-up Reel Unit, raise
the tension bar.

Use scissors to cut away any torn or wrinkled
parts.
