3.2 Troubleshooting with LED Error Indications and EPSON Status Monitor 3 Messages
This section describes the LCD indications and EPSON Status Monitor 3 messages which can appear when the corresponding errors are detected during operation of the printer
(turning power on, paper loading/paper feeding or ink suction operation). This section also describes the conditions under which an error detection occurs.

Fatal error indication On General error.
Turn the printer off. Remove any foreign
objects from inside the printer. Wait a few
minutes, then turn the printer back on. If the
problem persists, contact your dealer.
This error display occurs when any of the following
conditions occurs:
1. The CR Unit does not operate normally due to
application of an external force.
2. The PF Motor, when operated, does not run
normally.
3. The ASF Motor, when operated, does not run
normally.
Maintenance request
(Waste ink counter
overflow)
Service required.
Parts inside your printer are at the end of
their service life. Contact your dealer for
replacement.
This error display occurs when the Ink Counter A0
stored in EEPROM reaches the limit (32915 points).
