4.2.12 ASF Motor removal
1. Remove the housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 “Housing removal”)
2. Disconnect the ASF motor connector cable from the CN11 on the Main board with
tweezers
3. Remove the two screws (C.B.S-TITE, 3x4, F/ZN) while holding the ASF Motor,
and remove the ASF Motor.

4.2.13 Cutter Unit removal
1. Remove the housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 “Housing removal”)
2. Remove the housing lower cover from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.3 “Housing
Lower Covers removal”)
3. Disconnect the Cutter Motor Connector Cable and CT Sensor Connector Cable
from the connectors (CN17 and CN15) on the Main Board.
4. Disengage the four hooks fastening the Cutter Cover to the Cutter Unit, and
remove the Cutter Cover. (Disengage the hooks at the side of the Cutter Cover by
pushing them up.)

5. Remove the two screws (C.B.S SCREW, 3x6, F/ZN) securing the Cutter Cover
Bottom at the bottom of the Cutter Unit, and remove the Cutter Cover Bottom.

T When installing the ASF Motor on the Main Frame, take care
not to damage the combination gear 14.4, 38.4.
T Connect the ASF Motor Connector Cable to the connector
(CN11) on the Main Board securely.
T Tightening torque for screws
• Two screws securing the ASF Motor:
C.B.S-TITE, 3x4, F/ZN : 5 ~ 7kgf.cm
