4.2.7 LD Roller removal
1. Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 “Housing removal”)
2. Take the Head FFC off from the Head FFC holder located along the LD roller
shaft holder.
3. Remove the one screw (C.B.S. SCREW, 3x6, F/ZN) securing the Head FFC
Grounding Plate to the Main Frame, and remove the Head FFC Grounding Plate.

4. Remove the two screws (C.B.S. SCREW, 3x6, F/ZN) securing the LD Roller Shaft
Holder to the Main Frame. (The screw on the right side is found in the rear.)

5. While placing the ASF Hopper in the ASF Frame, disengage the hooks of the LD
Roller Shaft Holder by pulling them up and remove it.

6. Disconnect the cable from the PE Sensor connector mounted on the LD Roller
Shaft Holder.
7. From the LD Roller Shaft Holder, remove the LD Roller integral with the Clutch
Mechanism.
