Forced Charge

Select Target Ink Tank Do this if there is a discrepancy with the indicator when only 1 level

remains (refer to the following illustration) when it is time to refill the

ink while continuing to use a reserved chip.

Set a new chip unit on the slider of the target ink tank and mount it on

the printer in advance, and then do this setting. Selecting the target

ink tank in this setting and pressing the Z button cancels the

charge, and the printer is freshly charged from the chip unit that was

mounted in advance. A cancelled charge cannot be recharged or

returned to its original state.

This setting cannot be done in a state in which there are more than 2

levels on the indicator.

Restore Settings Yes

Select Yes to restore printer settings to their default values.

Printer Status

Firmware Version xxxxxxx,x.xx,xxx

You can see the firmware version.

Option Status XXXXXXXXXX Displays the name of the optional device connected to this printer.

Carriage passes XXXXXXXXXX Displays the current number of carriage passes.

Network Setup

IP Address Setting

Auto

Select whether IP addresses are obtained automatically using DHCP

(Auto) or manually (Panel). Set the IP address, Subnet Mask, and

Default Gateway on the Panel. Contact your system administrator

for detailed information.

Panel

Print Status Sheet Press the Z button to print a list of the network settings. Use this

information for a complete overview of network settings.

Restore Settings Yes

Select Yes to restore network settings to their default values.
