Attaching the Roll Core
Preparing
Use a take-up roll core that is the same width as the
paper.
Get a commercially available adhesive tape.
Loading
A
Set the Auto switch on the Auto Take-up Reel
Unit to Off.
B
Make sure that the roll is loaded correctly in the
printer, and then press the ) button on the
control panel.
C
Hold down the d button until the leading edge of
the roll reaches the roll core holders.

Important:
Always press the d button to feed the paper. If
the paper is pulled by hand, it may twist during
take-up.
D
Unlock the lock levers on the roll core holders
and move the holders past the width of the paper.
