7 Aligning the Antenna
Antenna alignment is performed to optimize the path of propagation between
the two sites (near end and far end), in order to transfer the signal with as
small loss as possible.
Alignment must be performed on the both sides of the hop.
Warning!
Some working areas involve the risk of accidents caused by falling or by falling
objects.
7.1 Preparing for Antenna Alignment
To prepare for aligning the antenna:
1. Make sure that the personnel at both sites can communicate to coordinate
alignment actions.
2. Align both antennas by sight as accurately as possible.
7.2 Aligning the Antenna Using the Alignment Camera
To align the antenna using the alignment camera:
1. To turn on the camera, press the power/mode button A.
