Why won't my Exmark NAVIGATOR engine start?

If your Exmark Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts with difficulty, or stops running, make sure the fuel tank isn't empty and refill it if necessary. Also, check that the fuel shutoff valve is open. Add oil if the oil level in the crankcase is low. Ensure the throttle is midway between “SLOW” and “FAST,” and the choke is “ON” for a cold engine or “OFF” for a warm one. Other potential causes include a dirty fuel filter (replace it), dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system (contact a service dealer), a dirty air cleaner (clean or replace it), corroded electrical connections (clean and reconnect them), a defective relay or switch (contact a service dealer), a faulty spark plug (clean, adjust, or replace it), or a disconnected spark plug wire (check and connect it).
