921.7 DESCRIPTION
The AEIO-580-B1A engine is characterized by the following performance data:
Rated power at 2700 RPM: 315 HP (234.9 kW).
Rated power at 2600 RPM: 303 HP (225.9 kW).
Rated power at 2400 RPM: 286 HP (213.3 kW).
Apart from the improved performance the engine is equipped on the left side with a retard type
magneto. This magneto has a retard breaker providing a fixed retard and long duration boosted spark
for starting. A Slick Start System completes the installation.
