SIS Overview
Using the Command and Response Table
The Command and Response Tables, starting on page 48, list the commands that the
switchers recognize as valid, the responses that are returned to the host, a description
of the command function or the results of executing the command, and examples of
commands in ASCII.
NOTE: Upper- and lowercase text can be used interchangeably unless otherwise
stated.

Verbose Mode
The connection to a DXP switcher can be used to monitor for changes that occur on the
switcher, such as front panel operations and SIS commands from a TCP/IP connection
or the RS-232 serial port. To receive change notices from the switcher, you must enable
verbose mode 1 or 3 (see the Verbose Mode commands starting on page58). In
verbose mode 1 or 3, changes are reported in messages that resemble SIS command
responses.
