Quantum Series Videowall Processing Systems • Installation and Maintenance 54
B
Power supply units (PSUs) — These two removable power supplies operate in a
redundant configuration. They are hot-swappable — if one fails, it can be replaced
while the processor is operating (see Replacing a power supply (Quantum
Elite 615 only) on page 58). Each PSU has a Power rocker switch that powers the
PSU on and off. It is not necessary to turn these switches to Off when you power off
the processor.
ATTENTION:
Both power supplies must be powered on at all times during operation of the
processor.
If a power supply fails, replace it as soon as possible.
Les deux alimentations doivent être allumées en permanence pendant
l’utilisation du processeur.
Si l’une des alimentations tombe en panne, remplacez-la dans les plus brefs
délais.
C
Power switch — This rocker switch powers the processor on and off.
ATTENTION:
If your Quantum processor front panel contains a black rectangular Reset
button (located directly below the Power switch), do not press it. Doing so
could damage the operating system.
Si la face avant de votre processeur Quantum dispose d’un bouton de
réinitialisation rectangulaire noir (situé juste en dessous de l’interrupteur
d’alimentation), n’appuyez pas dessus. Cela pourrait endommager le
système d’exploitation.
D
Flash drive bay — This dual slot flash drive bay contains the following cards:
Drive C: (top slot) — Stores the operating system and hardware drivers.
Drive D: (bottom slot) — Stores system configuration data. This card can
also be used to store local source content, such as an image file containing a
background for the target display.
You can manage the contents of drive D: using the Control Panel (see Using the
Control Panel on page 61).
E
Data LED — This amber LED blinks when data is being written to or read from
drive D.
F
Power indicator LED — This bicolor LED lights green when the unit is powered on
and both power supplies are functioning. It lights red when a power supply has failed.
