To change the device name:
1. Click into the Device Name field (see figure64,

, on the previous page).
2. Enter a desired name.
NOTE: The name can have alphanumeric characters and hyphens only. A hyphen
cannot be the first or last character. An incorrect name is ignored and the current
name is not changed.
3. Click SAVE (

). The new name is applied, the dialog box closes, and the device name
in the Network Settings panel is also updated with the new name.
Click CANCEL (
3
) to exit the process without making any changes.
NOTE: The default name is a combination of the model name and last three pairs of
the MAC address (for example, SSP-200-18-FF-FF).
Device Status
The Device Status panel (see figure64,

, on the previous page) displays the date,
time, and time zone for the connected SSP200, and allows the user to either synchronize
the date and time to a connected PC or set the date and time manually.
To synchronize to the connected PC:
1. On the Device Status panel, click SYNC TO PC.
2. If successful, you see a confirmation message and the current Date, Time, and
Timezone on the Device Status panel.
To set the information manually:
1. Click EDIT on the Device Status panel.
The Device Status Settings dialog box appears (see figure65).
2. Change Date and Time (

) and the Timezone (

) as appropriate.
3. Click SAVE (

) when done. You see the changes on the Device Status panel if the
update has been successful.
Click CANCEL (

) to exit the process without making any changes.
