Changing Direction / Reverse
At the end of the field when the tractor and hay
tedder must change direction or reverse, it is
essential that the tines are lifted from the ground.

Three-Point Hitch: Act on the tractor hydraulic lift,
and raise the equipment about 16—20” (40—50
cm) from the ground [Figure 31].

Pull-Type Hitch: Turn the adjustment lever (Item
1) to reset the rotary unit tilt, until parallel with
respect to the ground [Figure 32].

Be careful of danger zones around the equipment

WARNING
Clear the work area of all bystanders, especially
small children and animals.
Clear the work area of all obstacles.
Keep shields and all guards in place.
Keep away from moving parts.
Finishing Work
Assume the transport configuration before moving.
See “Transporting” on page 35.
Move the tedder to the storage location and
perform the following:
• Disengaged the PTO.
• Switch off the tractor engine.
• Engage the parking brake.
• Put the gear lever in neutral position.
• Remove the ignition key from the dashboard.
