The screen will then change to the STATUS
EDITOR. If the volume pedal is turned o, the
connected expression pedal will no longer
aect volume; helpful when using an expres-
sion pedal to send MIDI information without
engaging the volume pedal.
Once volume pedal status is conrmed, the
EDIT VOLUME PEDAL screen will automatically
return to the LOOP MODE EDITOR screen with
the volume pedal location and status displayed.
D. EDIT BUFFERS
Switchboard features two high-quality signal
buers, an input buer (B1) located just after
the input jack, and an output buer (B2) locat-
ed just before the output jack. Each buer can
be turned on and o individually by selecting
its corresponding onscreen icon; useful when
using Switchboard in conjunction with imped-
ance-sensitive fuzz pedals and in other instanc-
es in which true bypass may be preferred. For
optimal signal strength, keeping both buers on is recommended.
Select a buers icon to change its status. The EDIT BUFFER screen will appear; use the encoder or footswitches
to choose on or o. Once buer status is conrmed, the EDIT BUFFER screen will automatically return to the
LOOP MODE EDITOR screen with the updated buer status displayed.

C. EDIT VOLUME PEDAL
Selecting the Volume Pedal icon provides the same editing functionality as editing a loop. When the Volume
Pedal icon is selected, the SELECT LOCATION screen is displayed. Toggle through volume pedal locations by
turning the encoder or pressing the footswitches. Press the encoder to select the highlighted location.
