Adjust the shaft by hand so the flat section of the shaft [5] is opposite the sensing range.
Secure the shaft adapter with a threaded pin, depending on the direction of rotation of the drive.
– Tightening torque: 0.5 Nm ± 15%
Depending on the direction of rotation of the drive, the shaft adapter must be fixed to the flat section
of the shaft with the threaded pin through one of the threaded holes on the shaft adapter.

This chapter describes the attachment of the positioner to a semi-rotary drive in accordance with
VDI/VDE 3845-1, IEC 60534-6-2.
