5.2 Dismantling the MPA valve terminal
Providing the valve terminal is easily accessible, it need not
be dismantled when the following components are replaced
or removed:

Vertical pressure shut−off plates
Vertical supply plates

Loosening the electrical connections

CPX terminal · Instructions on loosening the electrical connections can be found in
the CPX system manual.
Multipin Sub−D · Loosen the fastening screws and remo ve the Sub−D multipin plug .
Multipin cage clamp · Loosen the cov er of the multipin co ver
· Mark the cores of the connecting cable. Then loosen the cores from the
termi nal strip .
· Loosen the protective conductor from the internal earth connection.
· L oosen the union nuts of the strain relief on the connecting cable. Then
pull the cable out of the strain relief.
M23 multipin round plug · L oosen the union nuts of the M23 socket.
· Pull the socket away from the plu g.
