3.3.8 Vacuum/low pressure operation
Please note
Valves with identifier T32C−A / T32U−A / T32H−A
(2x3/2−way valves) are not suitable for vacuum or low
pressure operation if they are supplied via connection 1.
· Operate these valves in a separate pressure zone.
· The operating pressure for this pressure zone must be
set in accordance with the diagram in appendix A,
Fig.A/1.
The following conditions must be fulfilled in order that you
can operate your VTSA valve terminal at supply connection 1
with vacuum or low pressure between 0.9 ... 2 bar:
the pilot control of the
valve solenoid coils is operated
with regulated external pilot air.
the valve terminal is fitted with the following valves:
single−solenoid 5/2−way valves
(identifier M52−M / M52A)
5/2−way double−solenoid valves (identifier B52 / D52)
5/3−way mid−position valves
(identifier P53C−M / P53U−M / P53E−M)
reversible 2x3/2−way valves (identifier T32N−A
/
T32F−A / T32W−A). These valves must be operated via
connections 3 and 5 in a separate pressure zone with
vacuum or low pressure.
3.3.9 Connecting the pneumatic tubing
Please note
· Use blanking plugs to seal all connections not required
for the functioning of the valve terminal.
