5.4.4 Adding valve locations
You can easily adapt th e VTSA valve terminalto the require
ments of your machine or systemby addi ng valve locati ons.
The smallest extension unit is a manifold block with 2 valve
locations.
For extension you will require:
Components
Type
1 manifold block for every 2 valve locations
A manifold block which supports one valve solenoid coil per valve location
A manifold block which supports two valve solenoid coils per valve location
VABV−S4−...−2T1
VABV−S4−...−2T2
2 valves or cover plates per manifold block
Valve
Cover plate
VTSA−B−...
VABB−S4−...−WT

Please note
If a manifold block is inserted between existing manifold
blocks, the address assignment of all the valves to the
right of the inserted manifold block will be shifted.
Dismantling Proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the valve terminal from the fastening surface
(see section 5.2).
2. Dismantle the manifolld block or the pneumatic supply
plate at
the point where you wish to extend the valve
terminal (see section 5.3.4).
