3.3 Connecting the VTSA valve terminal
Seal work connections (2 or 4) on non−assigned valve loca
tions (valve locations which are fitted with cover plates) with
blanking plugs or threaded blanking plugs to protect them
from dirt.
In order to guarantee the optimum efficiency of the valve ter
minal, we recommend in the following cases that more than
one supply
or exhaust line be used:
when large volume cylinders are operated at high speeds
when several valves (e.g. 10 valves) are switched simulta
neously to the flow position.
For additional supply of the VTSA valve terminal, this can be
fitted with further pneumatic supply plates (see chapter 5.3.4.
replace manifold block, pneumatic supply
plate or right−hand
end plate).
