5.4 Converting the VTSA valve terminal
The following conversion work can be undertaken on the
VTSA valve terminal:
convertion of the valve terminal to internal or external
pilot air
conversion of the valve terminal to ducted pilot exhaust
addition of pressure zones
addition of vertical sta cking components
addition of valve locations (sub−bases) or supply blocks.
5.4.1 Conversion to ducted pilot and breathable exhaust air
By turning the valve seals, you can vent the pilot exhaust air
ducted via connection 12 on the right−hand end plate.
Note that ducted exhausting of the pilot air via connection 12
does not conform to the ISO standard. Under circumstances,
the VTSA valve terminal can no longer be operated with ISO
valves
of other manufacturers.
Proceed as follows:
1. Please observe the general safety measures in the
section 5.1.
2. Use a screwdriver with a narrow blade to loosen the
fastening screws of all the valves. Remove the valves from
the manifold blocks (see Fig.5/1).
3. Check the exhaust variant for which the VTSA valve
terminal has been constructed.
