Valves
The VTSA valve terminal can be fitted with 2x3/2−way valves
(standard and reversible), 5/2−way valves (single−solenoid
and double−solenoid) and 5/3−way mid−position valves.
All 5/2−way valves and 5/3−way mid−position valves can be
used under all operating modes:
standard mode
reversible mode
low−pressure mode
vacuum mode.
Identifying the valves The valves on the VTSA valve terminal are marked
by type
codes. These are printed on the rear of the valves. An
identification within the type code indicates the valve
function, e.g. the identification T32C−A in type code VSVA−
B−T32C−AZD−A1−1T1L means that this valve consists of two
single−solenoid 3/2−way valves, closd in basic position. You
can identify the valve functiion with the
aid of the following
table. In the sales documentation and in the Festo Configu
rator the valves are marked with an Indent. code.
