5. Pull the battery out of its socket and release the clip.
6. To insert a new battery, insert the battery into the socket, with the positive (+) side
facing up.
Make sure that the battery snaps into place and the clip holds it securely in the socket.
7. Reinstall the copier interface board.
8. Reassemble the E100 and verify functionality (see page 18).
The date and time of day are lost when the old battery is removed. For instructions on
entering Server Setup to program the system date and time, see Configuration and Setup,
which is part of the user documentation set.
