12. Reconnect all cables to the E100.
• Connect the copier interface cable from the E100 to the copier.
• Connect the network switch (Ethernet) cable from the E100 to the network.
• Connect the copier (Ethernet) cable from the E100 to the copier.
For more information, see “Checking the network connection” on page 20.
Files install on the E100 (requires 3-4 minutes).
13. On the E100, with the power switch in the ON (|) position, press the power button once.
The E100 powers on. Wait for 00 to display on the LED display.
14. Power on the copier.
15. If you reinstalled system software, do the following:
• Restore the system configuration.
For more information, see “Restoring the system configuration” on page 68.
• Reinstall previously installed software patches.
For more information, see “Installing software patches” on page 69.
16. Reconnect all dongles and devices that you removed in step 1.
17. Ask the network administrator to reinstall customer-installed fonts and FreeForm masters
archived in step 1.
