5.3.1 Manipulation of the indoor unit
• Upon arrival of the unit, check any hidden damage caused while the transport and
report the damage to the sales representative in your area.

• Move the unit (1 in Fig. 5-9) to the closest place to the installation area by a forklift
and make sure that the center of gravity (2 in Fig. 5-9) of the unit is located between
the forks of the forklift (3 in Fig. 5-9). Where you can find the center of gravity label
stuck on the packing box.
• When no damage discovered, then start removing the packing wooden boards by
unscrewing the screws and store them for later transport or disposal.
• Take away the protective carton, foil, straps and other packing items.
• Unfasten the fixing fasteners from the bottom corners of the unit (1 in Fig. 5-10).

• On the both sides of the pallet there is a removable wooden board (2 in Fig. 5-10)
that supports the pallet. removing this boards will give access underneath the unit.
• Lift the unit by 100 mm from the side of the unit by the forklift and insert a pillar
between the unit and the pallet, then lower the unit on the pillar, refer to (Fig. 5-11)
