PIOX S70x 10 Measurement of Concentration and Mass Flow Rate
96 UMPIOX_S7V4-6-3EN, 2018-10-10
10.1.2 Mass Flow Rate Measurement (Optional)
If the transmitter has the option Mass Flow, the mass flow rate is available as an additional physical quantity.
The operating density of the medium in dependence on the concentration and temperature is calculated by means of an
algorithm:
ρ = f(K, T)
The mass flow rate is calculated from the operating density and the volumetric flow rate:
= · ρ
