10 Measurement of Concentration and Mass Flow Rate PIOX S70x
UMPIOX_S7V4-6-3EN, 2018-10-10 103
• Select the program branch Parameter.
• Press ENTER until the following display appears:
10.9 Offset of the Concentration
Minor deviations to laboratory measurements can be corrected by a constant offset value. This offset value only applies to
the operating point and should only be used for fine calibration. First, determine the calibration coefficient n and enter, if
necessary, the offset value. The value is added to the calculated concentration.
10.10 Further optimization
If a further optimization of the measurement is necessary, send the stored measurement data, the start-up protocol, the
reference values and additional information about the process conditions during the measurement to FLEXIM (see
annex A).
10.11 Start of the Measurement
• Select the program branch Measuring.
• Press ENTER until the main menu is displayed
• Press ENTER until the measured value is displayed:
Enter the calibration coefficient n.
Press ENTER.
This calibration coefficient can only be entered in the SuperUser mode. If a value was set it
will be displayed in the standard mode as well.
The automatic calibration always sets this value to zero.
Enter the calibration coefficient m*T.
Press ENTER.
Select yes to store the calibration coefficients. Press ENTER.
This display will only be indicated if the coefficients have been changed.
Enter an offset.
Press ENTER.
This display will only be indicated if the values are stored in the temporary data logger
(SAMPLE DATA).
Select keep if the values are to be preserved, clear if the values are to be deleted.
The temporary data logger (SAMPLE DATA) can be overwritten with new values at any
time.
During measurement it is possible to display the concentration (in mass percent) in the up-
per line by scrolling with the key .
If the concentration cannot be determined, an error message will be displayed, in which xx
is a bit-coded hexadecimal error code (see Tab. 10.1).
